About Richmond Tree Pros

Richmond Tree Pros is a tree service working Richmond, KY and Madison County. The short version of how we operate: we look at the tree before we quote it, we tell you when a tree does not need to come down, and we do not sell treatment programs for problems a tree does not have.

What we do

Removals, trimming and pruning, stump grinding, storm and emergency response, land and fencerow clearing, plant health diagnosis, and support systems for trees worth saving. Residential and commercial, across Madison County and the towns around it.

The part most people care about

Tree work goes wrong in expensive ways. The two things that actually protect a homeowner are current insurance coverage and a crew that knows how to rig a tree down instead of dropping it and hoping.

Ask us for a certificate of insurance and we will have the carrier send it. Ask any other bidder the same thing — the answer tells you most of what you need to know.

Kentucky does not license tree services at the state level, so insurance and an ISA Certified Arborist credential — not a license number — are what is actually worth checking before anyone climbs a tree on your property.

We will talk you out of work

A dead tree in the back of a field with nothing under it is habitat, not a hazard, and we will say so. A sycamore with anthracnose in May is going to releaf. A Japanese beetle year is ugly and rarely fatal.

Turning down work we do not think you need is not generosity — it is the only way a local service business survives more than a couple of seasons.
